Description

NA The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Roseburg Healthcare System, 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd., Roseburg, Oregon, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for Bldg.16 Fire Deficiency Corrections (Canteen) improvements include, but not limited to, new heating and cooling make-up air fan, new kitchen grease hood equipment with an fire suppression system, roof mounted exhaust fan, grease exhaust fan and associated ductwork and HVAC piping; new waste piping and grease interceptor; automatic fire sprinkler of the remodeled Canteen area; asbestos removal (where necessary); electrical and plumbing work, and architectural enclosures and improvements. Solicitation# IFB 653-24-05 will be available to download electronically by February 21, 2005. Contractor will provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and supplies necessary to completely prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures for the Roseburg Campus of the VA Roseburg Healthcare System, as required by drawings and specifications. NAICS Code 236220/size standard: $28.5 million. This solicitation is for full and open competition. The anticipated cost range for this project is $100,000 to $250,000. The solicitation contract terms, specifications and drawings will be made available by hard copy and/or electronically at www.fedbizopps.gov after February 21, 2005. If the contractor requires hard-copy drawings and specifications they can be received by submitting a written request with deposit to Ms. Terry Albertus, VA Roseburg Healthcare System, 913 NW Garden Valley Blvd., Roseburg, Oregon 97470. Offeror?s will be charged $150.00 for each set of drawings and specs. This fee would be reimbursed if the drawings and specs were returned in good condition, unmarked and complete after bid opening (within seven calendar days after bid opening). The due date for this solicitation is March 24, 2005, by 2:00 p.m. pacific time. A public bid opening will occur.
