Description
P/N: P-E1M, Medium E-1 Pulser will operate from 20 to 100kV charge (continuously variable). Pulser will be capable of delivering from 250 to 1250 amps (minimum) into a short. Source impedance will be between 60 and 75 ohms (back terminated within pulser). Risetime into low inductance short will be less than 10ns. Pulser comes with trigger control panel that includes lighted buttons that initiate charge, indicate pulser ready to fire, pulser fire button and pulser charge dump button. Charge level is set digitally using thumb-wheel switch. Has keyed interlock to prevent unauthorized use. Pulser comes with 25 feet of output cable (coax) and is mounted in a roll around cart. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1) Justification: Supplies or Services required are available from only one Or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to the closing date on the solicitation will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Electronic procedures will be used for the solicitation.
