Description

Synopsis F08620-04-R0011 is reissued under Solicitation number FA4417-05-R-7006. Non-Personal Services. The Contractor is to provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and other items or services necessary to perform Refuse, Recycling and Compost Collection and Disposal Services at Hurlburt Field AFB, Florida. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 562111 ($10.5 million). Please identify whether you are a large or small business based on this NAICS Code. This acquisition is unrestricted. Contract period is 1 Apr 05 through 31 Mar 06, with four option periods. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Hurlburt Field and Eglin AFB are currently involved in a joint initiative to privatize military family housing pursuant to the National Defense Authorization Act. This initiative is anticipated to result in award of a privatization contract on or around 1 Apr 06. As a result of this initiative Refuse, Recycling and Compost Collection and Disposal Services for Main Base Housing as covered by CLINs 1003 and 2003 will cease upon award of the privatization contract. Request for Proposal, FA4417-05-R-7006 and amendments thereto, will be issued via the Electronic Posting System (EPS) (http://www.eps.gov), Department of the Air Force, Air Force Special Operations Command, 16th Contracting Squadron (16 CONS), Hurlburt Field, FL. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Any problems with downloading the solicitation should be immediately reported to Mr Stoeser by telephone at the number provided below. Services will be procured pursuant to FAR Part 12, Acquisition of commercial Items. Evaluation for Award will utilize a best value approach, using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) technique.
