Description
ATTENTION***FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED to Peggy Salters, Contract Specialist,AMSAM-AC-LS-A. PRON:AX5F5036AX, NSN:1620-01-465-9232, PN: 1168100-507, NOUN: Shock Strut Assembly, Quantity: Minimum/142 Maximum/302 each 5 year IDIQ applicable to AH-64 Apache Airframe. Production lead-time is 142 each 315 days when First Article Testing is applicable. When First Article Testing is not applicable or is waived delivery is 142 each 210 Days after Contract award (DACA). When Alternate II clause is recommended the delivery is 142 each 263 Days after Contract Award with delivery to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This item is restricted to the following sources: McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Cage 8V613 and BF Goo drich Company Cage: 13002. The Government does not have adequate data, lacks rights to data, or both needed to purchase this part from additional sources. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Adequate t echnical data is not available for this acquisition. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item describe above are encourage to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by a ccessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respecti ve embassies. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation however; the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. No telephone request will be accepted NOTES: 23 and 26.
