- Description
- The Kootenai National Forest anticipates awarding a contract for tree planting on the Rexford, Fortine, and Libby Ranger Districts. The contract will consist of a base year (2005) and an option for one additional year (2006). Approximately 1400 acres will be planted each year with trees supplied by the Forest Service. The work may be done on steep and remote areas of the forest. The successful contractor must have enough crews and equipment to plant in all three districts simultaneously if need be. The crew foreman must be able to speak and write English. The planting will be done between April and June.
