Description

The Government has intentions of contracting with Smiths Aerospace (09LX4) for 14 each of 5962-01-230-3000, P/N 160492-01. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of February 7, 2005 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Since it is anticipated that the terms and conditions of Smith Aerospace?s BOA will be used, a formal RFP was not issued. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal for the approved part, Smiths Aerospace (35351), P/N 160492-01, which will be considered. The letter RFP opens on February 7, 2005 and closes at 1:00 p.m. on March 9, 2005. The solicitation is for 14 each Linear Microcircuits, includes price breaks covering quantities of 5 to 25, and contains a 100% quantity option. The FOB point and inspection and acceptance points are origin and the delivery requirement is 180 days. See Numbered Notes 12, 22, and 26
