Description

The VA intends to contract for architect engineering services for Project No. 583-401, 7th and 8th Floor Enhancements with BSA LifeStructures, 9365 Counselors Row, Indianapolis, IN 46240 for construction period services and site visits (120) for Project No.583-401, 7th and 8th Floor Enhancements at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, Indiana. BSA LifeStructures completed the initial design; which was contracted by VHA Enhanced-Use Trust and therefore possesses the design knowledge, historical background, and documentation. The AE will be required to review all contract submittals and provide recommendations on acceptability and conformance with contract requirements; visit the site regularly to attend project meetings and review and inspect installed work; review contractor proposals for changes and provide independent estimates; as well as providing record drawing of the project at the completion of work. Comments will be accepted for fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this notice and can be sent to the Contracting Officer, attention Kathy Kaler (90CSC), Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 West Tenth Street Indianapolis, IN 46202. No telephone requests will be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
