Description
The Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) is seeking information (i.e., cost, length of time required) from vendors to migrate application programs and data bases that run on a Bull/IDSII/TP8 system to either an IBM/IMS/CICS or UNIX/ORACLE/TUXEDO system. In addition to migrating the system off of the Bull/IDSII/TP8 platform, there is a need to reduce the labor intensive batch job processing and make the system more robust, reliable and secure.
