Description

Andersen Air Force Base requires wireless telephone access, primarily for use on the installation and surrounding communities. The Contractor will provide wireless telephone service for Andersen Air Force. The contractor will sell or lease to the government equipment that operates on their network. The following features shall be available on each access line free of charge unless otherwise stated: Call-Waiting, Caller-ID, Three-way Conferencing, Voice mail, Call-Forwarding, Push to talk, and Text-messaging. Optional wireless services or equipment the contractor can now or in the future provide such as Internet access or paging will be provided by the contractor in the same manner described below. The contractor will maintain their system and end user equipment to ensure the best possible coverage. The contractor will retain a highly trained staff that is readily available to process orders and resolve user problems. The contractor will train users on equipment provided and features to their fullest extent. This action is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 517212 with a size standard of 1500 employees. Any proposed contract resulting from this notice will be for a basic period and four option years. The solicitation will be posted on or before 9 Feb 2005 on www.eps.gov.
