Description

SIGHT, REAR, IN SUPPORT OF THE MK19 (40 MM GRENADE MACHINE GUN) FOR A QUANTITY OF 4,300 EACH, OVER THE NEXT FIVE YEARS, NSN: 1010-01-133-6983, Part Number 3269545. The item to procure is a leaf type sight with four small investment castings (two may be wrought material). 27 separate close tolerance, heat-treated, and normalized parts are included in this assembly. Engraving and precision assembly is required. FOB is DESTINATION. Estimated issue date is February 25, 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria. army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore in cumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receip t of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
