Description

The Air Force intends to award FFP, commercial contract for non-personal services to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, personnel and incidentals as necessary to inspect, repair, launder, press,dry clean, package, bundle, pick up and deliver to Tinker Air Force Base, OK in accordance with Industry Standards and the attached Statement of Work and appendices A, B, C, D and E . Period of performance of 1 April 05 ? 30 Sep 05 with four option periods. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The estimated award date is 7 MARCH 05. This is a 100% small business set aside. Only small businesses will be considered for award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812332 and the small business size standard is $12 Million. All responsive small business firms will be considered by the Government. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. The entire soliciation package will be made available on the Federal Business opportunities web site at http://www.eps/gov. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendation to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
