- NOUN: Nozzle Support NSN: 2840-01-501-0121NZ P/N: 4086906-01 APPLICABLE TO: F-100-220/220E Engines ESTIMATED QTY: Basic Year-644, Option 1-453, Option 2 - 453 REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE: As specified in each individual order. Government?s delivery schedule: Basic Year ? 54 per month, Option 1 ? 38 per month, Option 2 ? 38 per month PREDOMINATE MATERIAL: Titanium Alloy SIZE/DIMENSIONS: Approximately 46.5 inches in diameter, 27 inches in height FORM, FIT, FUNCTION: Provides support for installing actuators, synch rings, and other hardware to operate the nozzle ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: 10 Apr 2005 The USAF will issue an RFP for the manufacture of Nozzle Supports. The solicitation will be issued electronically through the FEDBIZOPS website. A firm-fixed price, Requirements contract with a one-year basic and two one-year option ordering periods will be issued. Anticipated solicitation issue date: 22 Feb 05. Anticipated award date: 10 Apr 05. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved and qualified IAW with the Qualification Requirements. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
