Description

DESC: 1005-01-334-1507, Part Number 12944203. The item to procure is a reusable Magazine, Cartridge, Soft Pack, made from a nylon cloth per MIL-C-34734. Attached to the cartirdge is a bar tack, fastener, smap, socket, clip and a spring retention m agazine made from spring wire with a phosphate coating applied. Requirements are a 3 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a guaranteed minimum quantity of 15,000 each and a maximum quantity of 300,000 each. FOB is Destination. For use on the M249 Machine Gun. Estimated issue date is 28 Feb 2005. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c). Therefore, hardcopies will n ot be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicittion will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in orde r to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of s ame. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp @ria.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information: CAGE Code (if aavailable), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the soli cittion has been released to the internet.
