Description
The USACE Philadelphia District intends to initiate a Request for Quote to acquire commercial services for the water supply and sewage collection system maintenance for the Dry Brooks Day Use and Dry Brooks Boat Ramp Areas at Blue Marsh Lake, Pennsyl vania, in accordance with the terms and conditions of Request for Quote number W912BU-05-T-0058. This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and vehicles required to operate and maintain the water distribution system, force main and gravity sanitary sewage systems, grinder pump stations, and lift station with a 10,000 ga llon storage tank, activate water supply lines and winterize at the end of the park season. This procurement will be awarded for a base year plus four twelve-month options for the period 01 April 2005 through 31 March 2006. Work period of performance is 01 April 2005 through 31 October 2005. Solicitation will be issued on or about 10 February 2005 with quote due on or about 01 March 2005. Contractors must register on the Internet and download the solicitation package and all amendments from the followin g address: https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil on or after the issue date of the solicitation. If any information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make chang es in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving notice of the solicitation or any amendments. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation and any amendments. Hard copies will not be available. No written or fax request s will be accepted. All contractors are required to be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
