R-Professional, Administrative and Management Support Services This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only soliciation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. AAQ050009 is issued as a REQUEST FOR QUOTATION and incorporates the following provisions and clauses. Statement of Work Arizona State Office - Bureau of Land Management; Information Access Center and Arizona State Office The Information Access Center (IAC) is the first contact that visitors have with the Arizona State Office, Bureau of Land Management (ASO,BLM). Term of the Contract Approximately 1 year with an option to extend 1 year. Location of Work The work will be performed at the Bureau of Land Management, Arizona State Office, 222 North Central Avenue, Suite 101, Phoenix, Arizona 85004. Hours of Operation Work hours are from 7:30 A.M. to 4 P.M. with a 30 minute lunch break (unpaid), Monday through Friday except for legal public and Federal holidays or other excused absences. There is no provision for overtime hours. Specific Tasks This position is needed temporarily due to the transition to the virtual public room which the implementation is in the next 24 months and should decrease the customer traffic by 30%. Currently the volume of visitors and phone calls, the need is for a full-time receptionist who will be responsible for the following: 1. Receive incoming calls to the main desk and either route calls, direct the caller to the proper division, answer questions, if possible, or take message if necessary. 2. Greet internal and external visitors promptly and properly with courtesy and professionalism. 3. If necessary, escort visitor to proper office within the State Office. 4. Insure security procedures are followed precisely for all visitors to the area. Proper procedures will be identified through verbal training. 5. Receive and sign for deliveries from Federal Express, UPS, US Postal Service etc. Insure that proper employees are notified of incoming packages. 6. Validate parking for appropriate visitors. 7. Assure timely accomplishment of special assignments from Team Leader or Group Administrator. These types of assignments will be clerical in nature and will be accomplished while attending to the Reception Desk. Dress will be casual business attire. Questions regarding procedures to be followed at the Reception Desk will be answered by the Team Leader, Group Administrator or Public Contact Representative in that order.
