Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, Yuma Arizona, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Cal Poly Irrigation and Training Research Center, a non-profit foundation associated with California State University, San Luis Obispo CA 93407. Work includes technical support for on-going canal modernization programs, rapid appraisal and evaluation of existing district operations for planning purposes, on-farm water management workshops, research into specific water management issues, and technical assistance for specific water measurement and water management problems. Competition is restricted due to the ability to provide these services. This procurement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition procedures. The anticipated award date is February 18, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Offers shall show contractor's capability to provide required items and be received by 12 Noon MST, February 18, 2005.
