Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Quotes (RFQ), solicitation number Q8221050046. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 423610 and the business size standard is 100 employees. The proposed contract is not set aside. The solicitation is for one electric motor per the following specifications: Indian Garden Pump 3 Electric Motor Replacement Description: The supplier must be able to ship within two weeks, one (1) electric motor rated at 750 hp or greater. The motor must meet all of the specifications of the original motor that this unit is replacing, except horsepower. The unit shall be new. The F.O.B. point is South Rim of the Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon National Park Warehouse, 1576 Shuttle Bus Road, Grand Canyon, AZ 86023. Specifications: The original motor that this unit is replacing is a U.S. Motor 750 hp electric motor. Horsepower: 750 Frame: 5810S Shaft Diameter: 3.375" -0.001" (U Measurement) Shaft Length: 6.5" (V Length) Type: H Phase: 3 Hertz: 60 R.P.M.: 3600 (No load speed), 3535 (Full load speed) Volts: 460 Assy. Pos: F-1 Enclosure: ODP Current Amps: 847 (Full load), 4430 (Locked rotor) Service Factor: 1.15 Altitude: 3700 ft Features: Separate outlet box for RTD leads, 100 ohm platinum wire RTD, Counter clockwise rotation facing end opposite drive, Screens, Insulation rated for inverter duty 55+ Hz Technical questions should be directed to Mike Martin, 928-638-7790 or 928-638-7666. Offers may submit quotes for one contract line numbers (CLIN) as follows: CLIN 0001: electric motor per above specification - Lump sum price - F.O.B. Grand Canyon, Arizona. $__________. The Government plans to award a firm fixed price contract without discussions resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Offeror shall identify the manufacturer and specification of the motor being offered. In addition to a completed SF Form 1449(or equal) and a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. The Government will then assess each offeror's total contract line number (CLIN) price, to determine reasonableness. Delivery time that exceeds 14 days may not be considered for award at the discretion of the Government. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. FAR 53.232-23.
