Description

The U. S. Geological Survey, WRD Middleton,WI intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Rig Source, INC., Elburn, IL to purchase a Refurbished Geoprobe 66DT. The requested equipment is to provide quality data for USGS geophysical projects. As a result of market research we have concluded that Rig Source, INC.. is the only agent authorized by Geoprobe to refurbish their direct push soil probes, procure unique parts and installation to Geoprobe standards. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about February 11, 2005 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 532412. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No additional synopsis will be published. See note 1.
