- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-05-G-4207 with Northrup Grumman Systems Corp., Sperry Marine, 1070 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22901-2891. Orders will be issued to receive, open, inspect, analyze and repair, alter, maintain and replace spares/components for the Doppler Sonar Velocity Logs (DSVL). Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Northrup Grumman, Sperry Marine is the original equipment manufacturer and sole supplier of the fielded DSVLs. It is the only company which possesses the knowledge, experience and resources necessary to perform the tasks described within the time required. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy?s requirements.
