Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award, to a responsible quoter for the provision of trash removal services for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Safford), 1529 W. U.S. Hwy 366, Safford, AZ 85546. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through twelve months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. Estimated yearly contract requirements include: Complete trash removal, rental of equipment, and pick up (haul and dump). All delivery schedules and sizes of containers will be addressed in the solicitation. All services provided must be in accordance with applicable solid waste disposal codes and regulations. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 562111, with a small business size standard of $10.5M. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 11, 2005. Upon issuance, solicitation packages may be accessed electronically at this website. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning this solicitation, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information concerning this solicitation. All interested parties may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This solicitation is being set-aside 100% for small business.
