Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell, VA Medical Center, 4646 John R, Detroit, MI 48201 intends to sole source to Swisslog Translogic, 10825 E 47th Ave, Denver, CO 80239, Tel: (303) 371-7770. Swisslog Translogic shall provide parts and maintenance to Electric Tracked Vehicles, which are part of the Electric Tracked Vehicle (ETV 42) System. The proposed contract action is for parts and maintenance mentioned above, which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses may be reviewed and/or obtained from the internet address http//www.arent.gov/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract, based on responses to this notice, is solely the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later than 4:00 PM eastern standard time on 2/28/05 to the contracting officer listed above. See Government-wide numbered note 22.
