Description

This is a sources sought synopsis to acquire services to perform Laundry Services for Shaw AFB, South Carolina. The intent of this study is to determine competition in the market. This service will ask the contractor to provide all labor, management, supervision, plant, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide laundry services. Service shall include pickup and delivery of Government linen, cleaning at the contractor's plant, repairing tears and ripped seams, repairing holes, and protective wrapping. The Statement of Work(SOW) will be made available in the Government solicitation. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT INTEND TO PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION OR INQUIRY SUBMITTED AS A RESULT OF THIS SYNOPSIS. A solicitation is expected to be published in the future. Respondents capable of satisfying the requirements stated herein should respond in writing via e-mail, mail or fax to TSgt Laura Sherman at the below address or e-mail address. Provide a narrative identifying business size (small, small disadvantage or large) and experience performing the same or similar services. Please send the information to the 20th Contracting Squadron, 205 Blue Jay St Shaw AFB, South Carolina, Attn: TSgt Laura Sherman or e-mail laura.sherman@shaw.af.mil. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this aquisition is 812320 ($4.0 million). Once available, this solicitation must be downloaded from www.eps.gov as no paper copies will be issued. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. The resultant award will be made on an all-or-none basis to include basic period of months and two one-year option periods. This notice serves as preliminary information and does not obligate the government in its ultimate aquisition approach, or obligate the government to pay for proposal costs.
