PRON: AX5T6034AX, NSN: 5330-01-263-7826, PN: 2-300-973 QUANTITY: Min: 230 each/Max: 1150, Noun: Seal, Plain Encased; 5 Year Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract, applicable to the CH-47, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This is a Flight Safety Part. This item is restricted to Honeywell International Inc, Cage Code 99193, and Rexnord Industries Inc. Cage 91587. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. This part must be acquired from a manufa cturing source (s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sour ces, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review disclose that required d ata or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. A Contractor First Article is not required. Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 230 each, 180 Days After contract Award (DACA). Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek s ource approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an esti mated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their r espective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Age ncy. NOTES: 23 and 26
