Description

Request for Quotation (RFQ), Q6115050025. Roof replacement on historic structure (HS-1) at Fort Scott National Historic Site, Fort Scott, Kansas. Removal and disposal of existing cedar shingles and miscellaneous flashing. Install 24" Certi-Guard fire retardant cedar shingles, #1 blue label (Royals). Selective replacement of roof sheathing and building fascia will be required. Estimated cost range: $25,000-$100,000. NAICS Code 238160. This is a "full and open" competition award which will be made in accordance with Public Law 100-565, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The RFQ with attachments will be issued electronically on the website http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about February 28, 2005. Prospective offerors must register at this website to quote and download the solicitation. An award selection will be based on price and past performance factors. This project is subject to the Davis Bacon Act. Prospective offerors must register on the Central Contractor System (CCR) website http://www.ccr.gov in order to receive awards from federal agencies. No hard copies of the RFQ and attachments will be mailed or issued. A site visit will be conducted at Fort Scott National Historic Site on March 7, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Call Jack Messer of Fort Scott at 620-223-0310 for other site visit arrangements.
