- This is an amendment to combined synopsis/solicitation M67400-05-T-0309 for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is not a small business set-aside; any responsible source may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67400-05-T-0309 applies and is issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The agency needs are for: ITEM 0001: QTY: 150 EACH Wilcox L2 Combat Helmet Mount (Part Number 28300G02) FFP Wilcox L2 Combat Helmet Mount (Part Number 28300G02) is packaged with unique innovative features that allow quick and robust mechanical adjustments while maintaining an extremely low profile stance on the helmet. This all metal mount is light weight in design and is manufactured of aerospace grade materials coated with a flat black finish to enhance durability, for covertness in combat conditions. Brand Name or Equal. ITEM 0002: QTY: 150 EACH Wilcox Three Hole T-Bracket FFP The Wilcox Three Hole T-bracket is easily mounted to the helmet. There are five very distinct features that are built into the construction of this helmet mount. The pivot mechanism is simple and cannot wear out or loosen over time. This unique design was developed by and is featured in this mount under agreement with Northrop Gruman. Brand Name or Equal.
