Description

In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the United States Department of Commerce/Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) is providing widespread notice of the acquisition opportunity and is requesting quotations for an Advisor on Commercial Law for the Middle East Partnership Initiative. The specific task is described in the Statement of Work, included in the Request for Quote (RFQ). The RFQ, SA1301-05-RQ-0015, is being issued utilizing FAR 13 Procedures. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments, and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation is attached and will only be available on FEDBIZOPPS at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. All responsible sources may submit a quote on one or both requirements as detailed in the Statement of Work, which will be considered by CLDP. There is no written document available, telephone requests will not be honored and no bidders list will be maintained. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov. All offers are due by 12:00 PM EST on February 22, 2005. Electronic submissions in Microsoft Word format are preferred, and shall be sent to kfleming@doc.gov
