Description
Requirement: Warehouse Inventory Management System Item 1. System Requirements. System must be an automated complete inventory system with the ability to utilize the internet and/or local area network to have end to end communications at each location (7) warehouses. a. Internal- must be compatible with PC Pentium III 900 MHZ, 512 Mb. Compatible with Windows 2000/XP, Windows 2003 Server, Microsoft SQL b. External- system must be linked to CORE inventory system in Arifjan and seven sites throughout the AOR of Iraq with possible expansion to Afghanistan. c. Ancillary Devices- Handheld standard range scanners with bar code scanning capability, battery charger with battery for each unit, bar code label printers, warranty for the hardware, 20 user license, and any third party software licenses included d.Functionality- a) Receiving- Must have the ability to perform stock receiving operations, stock can be Received against an order or as an unexpected receipt. b) Storing- Must have the ability to move stock between locations in the warehouse or between warehouses. Must be able to conduct physical inventory operations and verify the quantity of stock in locations. c) Shipping- Must have the ability to create request orders, allocate available stock, ship it from the warehouse and print packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels. d)Reporting- Must have the ability to generate reports designed to facilitate warehouse management, general inquiry, total asset visibility, and problem resolution. e) Barcode scanning and Label printing- Must have the ability to receive, store, conduct stock movement, physical inventories, cycle counts, adjustments, picking, and shipping using RF Barcode Scanning devices. Must be able to generate and print barcodes for items, pallets, and locations. f) Administration- Must provide the ability to create and maintain system users. To include simple access configuration for user permissions to access specific operations. g) Must be expandable to seven locations h) Must support greater than 2,000 LINS i) Must provide at least two scanners per site Item 2. Training & Installation. Up to 8 hours on-site training in Arifjan, Kuwait or Baghdad, Iraq. Offeror shall propose location. Item 3. Features. Multiple warehouse inter-connectivity, Receiving-ability to track pallets and containers through a specific labeling method, Storing-allows for the rapid inventory of stocked equipment, bench stock and shop stock, produces lists of demand history, trend analysis, shipping, receiving and inventory reporting, replenishment- alerts end-user when threshold of items have been reached and stock level must be replenished, and integration- allows compatibility with several common third party software, security- provides specific access to personnel with permissions to access and modify the system. Item 5. Installation kit. Installation kit must contain all tools parts, and accessories needed to install, de-install, and operate the system by the user. Item 6. Delivery Method. Prefer that the total package be fully mission capable within two weeks of the contract award.
