Description: The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 7 (Alaska) intends to award a sole source procurement to North Slope Borough of Barrow, Alaska to gather Spectacled and Steller's Eider bird and egg harvest information using a pictorial guide (OMB Survey Form 7-FW-103) for survey periods Spring (April 1-June 30, 2005) and Summer (July 1 - August 31, 2005) in the following North Slope communities: Barrow, Pt. Hope, Wainwright, Pt. Lay. This project will gather information from households in the communities in addition to those already being surveyed for general harvest information. Vendor will audit the information for correctness and completeness, and return the information (survey forms) to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Migratory Birds and State Programs, Alaska Migratory Bird Co-Management Council, with copies to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game Division of Subsistence, Data Management/Analysis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and the Government does not intend to accept proposals received. Award will be made 15 days after the publication of this notice.
