Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) seeks to increase the current level of effort under contract with Advanced Technology Systems, the current contractor for contract number PBGC01-CT-02-0641, for the third option year. The contract includes the consolidation, analysis and development programming of approximately 16 PBGC custom-designed software applications. This is a continuation of work already undertaken by the existing provider. The increase in the level of effort is to meet the delivery schedule required by the Benefits Administration & Payments Department (BAPD) to replace the current applications by close of first quarter fiscal year 2006. It is PBGC's belief that the provider possess' the unique qualifications required to continue to perform the requirements of the contract, since all of the tasks identified are currently performed by the provider. This modification will ensure continuity of work and timeliness of delivery. This is not a request for proposal. See Note 22.
