- Description
- The contractor will be required to pickup twelve (12) 8-foot, by 4-inch wide by 10-foot, 5-inch high draft tube stoplogs from the powerplant and transport them to their facility; sandblast and recoat the stoplogs; replace the stoplog seals, valve seals, and associated hardware; repair the valves; and transport the stoplogs back to the powerplant. The performance period for this work is 205 days. The work to be performed is located at Yellowtail Dam in Fort Smith, Big Horn County, Montana. The performance period for this work is approximately 100 days. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for March 31, 2005 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. The solicitation packages will be available on or around March 1, 2005. The estimated price range of this acquisition is $100,000 to $250,000. There is no charge for the first copy; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 per set. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. This acquisition is unrestricted. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 332813. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3471. The small business size standard is 500 Employees. This specifications and drawings will be not posted to the internet; however a complete solicitation package is available in hard copy. To request a hard copy of the solicitation, contractors must fax a request to (406) 247-7798, Attn: Hart BlackEagle. The request must include contractor's name, address, phone/fax numbers, tax identification number and their Dun and Bradstreet number. Note: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration.
