Description

The Social Security Administration has a requirement to perform an Annual Preventive Maintenance Service on the Air Conditioning Equipment at the Frank Hagel Federal Building, Social Security Administration, 1221 Nevin Avenue, Richmond, CA. The Air Conditioning System consists of two (2) Carrier Centrifugal Water Chillers, model number 19XL5858462CN, and two (2) Carrier Centrifugal Glycol Chillers, model number 19XL5757457CQ. The contractor shall provide all the labor, material, and equipment to perform the annual preventive maintenance, tube cleaning, and oil analysis on the chillers. All potential contractors will be required to pass a security background check before beginning performance on an award. Prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to award of a contract. Offerors will be required to complete online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in responding to this requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items. This is a non set-aside. The North American Industry Code (NAIC) is 238220. The solicitation number SS09-RFQ-52017 will be available for downloading on or about March 1, 2005. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
