Description
STATEMENT OF WORK- SERVICES CARNIVAL FAIR SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, training, equipment, tools, materials, supplies and all other items and services necessary to operate Carnival Fair (Rides and Attractions, Food and Confections, Games) for HILL AFB, in a location assigned by Services Division. The contractor will sell tickets for the rides, games and food. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. SERVICES SHALL PROVIDE: The Location: Hill Air Force Base Centennial Park. Date is 20-21 May 2005. Equipment: Services will not furnish any equipment to support the operation of the food,games, novelty items and rides portion of this function. Services Division will provide space, water, and any existing hardwired electricity at no charge to the contractor. Any mobile electricity should be provided by a generator at the contractor expense. Advertising/Marketing Support: NAFI shall provide advertising support through the Services newsletter and cross marketing in other Services activities. All Contractor initiated advertising, signage, promotional materials, and etc. shall be at the Contractor’s expense and must be submitted to the MARKETING OFFICE for approval before publication, distribution and/or posting of advertising, signage, and promotional materials. Services Management will be responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to the Contractor ensuring that the Contractor meets all contractual requirements. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE: Two Days Carnival Fair for Hill Air Force Base, includes on the fair are rides and attractions, games, food and confections. The contractor may not sell alcohol. The contractor shall provide a wholesome, safe, clean atmosphere with exciting attractions for the patrons. Provide products or services of a quality satisfactory to the NAFI manager or their duly authorized representative. Place the price list in a conspicuous spot for pa¬trons to see. At Contractor's expense, obtain all permits, give all necessary notices; pay all license fees; and comply with all municipal state, and national laws, rules, ordinances, and regulations, and any publication published by the military relating to public health or applicable to the business carried on under this agreement and assume complete and sole liability for all national, state, and local taxes ap¬plicable to the property, income, and transactions of the concession. Keep the concession (Carnival/Amusement) area clean, orderly, attractive, secure, and in a safe and sanitary condition to the satisfaction of the NAFI managers. Employ only persons who meet the health standards prescribed by law or regulations, which pertain to the jobs for which they are hired. Furnish a sufficient number of trained employees for the efficient performance of the Concessionaire contract (Carnival/Amusement). Concession (Carnival/Amusement) personnel must meet the health and security standards prescribed by applicable regulations Obtain insurance for all non Government property and merchandise used by the Concessionaire (Carnival/Amusement) in the operation of the concession against theft, fire, storm, flood, and damage, or destruction through any other force of nature; or in lieu thereof, to relieve the NAFI from any liability arising from such theft, loss, damage, or destruction. The Concessionaire must have liability insurance commensurate with the risks involved, and furnish proof of such to the Contracting Officer. Not leave cash on the premises during non-operational hours. Concessionaire personnel shall present a neat appearance and be easily recognized. This may be accomplished by wearing distinctive clothing bearing the name of the company or by wearing appropriate badges, which has the contractors name, Food must be prepared and held at the proper temperatures meeting all Public health standards. Must have proper container for ice storage. Set up/Breakdown must occur the evening before/after the event. The Contractor shall use reasonable care to avoid damaging existing buildings and equipment of the installation that the Contractor is to provide service. The Contractor’s failure to use reasonable care causes damage to property, the contractor shall replace or repair the damage at no expense to the NAFI as the contracting officer directs. If the Contractor fails or refuses to make such repair or Replacement, the contractor shall be liable for the cost. FEES AND CHARGES: Contractor be able to provide NAFI a minimum flat rate fees of $2500.00 or be able to provide free rides or possible cheapest rates for the rides for the patrons. ORIENTATION/SET UP PERIOD: The contractor will be operational within_________days from the date of contract award, or sooner if agreed upon by the Activity and Contractor. Contract can be cancelled due to an act of God, for any other extenuating circumstances or if Official military duty calls.
