- Description
- The Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) requests industry comments on the Draft Statement of Work (SOW) for Conference Support Services. Source selection procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15.3 and DFARS Part 215.3 shall be utilized for the contract, and performance period will be one basic year and two option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes are 541690 OR 561920, OR 541990, $6 Million. Businesses may qualify for this procurement under any one of the above listed NAICS codes. HUBZone preference IAW FAR 19.1307 applies. Anticipated contract type is single award Cost Plus Award Fee with a zero base fee. Potential contractors will propose the Award Fee amount. Your response to this Draft Statement of Work may be taken into consideration in preparing the final RFP. The bid schedule will consist of seven (7) Contract Line Items (CLINs), one for each individual scientific and support directorate within AFOSR. The first year will have one firm fixed CLIN for transition costs. Task orders will be issued against each line item for the individual conferences. THIS IS ONLY A NOTICE FOR THE POSTING OF A DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK FOR INDUSTRY COMMENT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). This notice in no way obligates the government to award any contract. A separate synopsis announcement will be posted identifying the requirement and providing the expected solicitation release date. Draft evaluation criteria will be posted at a later date. Be advised, Statement of Work changes are possible when the final RFP is released and hard copies are not available. Any and all comments are welcome. Some of the areas AFOSR is looking for comments on include: Are the service requirements clear and understandable? Are there any requirements that contractors would not be able to meet? Are performance thresholds reasonable and attainable? Please send comments to the attention of Beth Wann by e-mail, fax or regular mail as soon as possible, but no later than 24 February 2005. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-FEB-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
