Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Olympic National Forest, intends to issue a commercial item solicitation for the South Hood Canal Road Maintenance Project, located on the Hood Canal Ranger District. Contractor shall provide road maintenance services including; surface blading; drainage maintenance; structure maintenance; slide and slough removal. Offers will be evaluated on; price; experience; and past performance. The contract will be for one year, with two one-year options. Options will be evaluated at time of award. Contract award will be to the offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is the best value to the Government. Solicitation R6-OLY-5-2006 will be issued on or about March 07, 2005. This procurement is a HUBZone small business set-aside. If an acceptable offer is not received from a certified HUBZone small business concern, offers from non-HUBZone small business concerns will be considered. Non-HUBZone small business concerns may submit offers on, or before, April 07, 2005. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. The estimated start work date is May 16, 2005. The government price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Service Contract Wage Determination Rates apply to this solicitation and any resulting contract. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award.
