- This is a combined/synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract for Landscaping of Buildings 7403, 7407, 7409, 7420, 7421, and 7422 of the Dyess Inn, Dyess AFB, TX; IAW attached Statement of Work and Drawings (IN ORDER TO VIEW THE DRAWINGS, YOU WILL NEED ADOBE ACROBAT READER, this is a free download AND A PICTURE VIEWER). Solicitation #FA4661-05-T-0023 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-25. All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the actual solicitation (see attached word document). This electronic announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued. This procurement is SET ASIDE 100% FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED business WITH MAIN OFFICE IN STATE OF TEXAS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 and the small business size is $6,000,000. The period of performance is 120 days starting on/about 7 March 05 - 11 July 05. A MANDATORY ONE-TIME ONLY SITE VISIT is scheduled for 23 February 05 1:00pm (CST). All contractors planning to attend MUST send a confirmation email or fax to primary point of contact (POC). As a minimum of 3-days prior please submit in writing (i.e. email suffices) to this office the following site visit base pass request information: Name of Company, Name of Personnel, Driver's License # and State, and Social Security #. All personnel will meet at the Contracting Office main conference room, 381 Third St, Bldg 7238. All questions pertaining to this solicitation and/or site visit shall be in writing and submitted NO LATER THAN 4:00pm (CST) 28 February 05. Please reference solicitation FA4661-05-T-0023 on all correspondence. All quotations must be received by the 7th Contracting Squadron, Attn: 2Lt Pavan Balaji, 381 Third St, Dyess AFB, TX 79607-1581 by 2 March 05, 12:00pm (CST).
