Description

DESC: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE USED AS A MARKET RESEARCH TOOL. THE GOVERNMENT MAY HAVE A NEED TO PURCHASE A CAM ASSEMBLY, VERTICLE, IN SUPPORT OF THE MK19 GMG FOR A QUANTITY OF 500 EACH. NSN: 1010-01-123-6705, Part Number 3269411. The item to pro cure is a VERTICAL CAM ASSEMBLY CONSISTING OF THE VERTICAL CAM, LEVER DRIVE LOCK, BLOCK, CAM AND LEVER DRIVE LOCK. THE PARTS ARE CLOSE TOLERANCE MACHINED FROM STEEL 4130 CHROME-MOLYBDENUM BAR (AIRCRAFT QUALITY). WELDING PER MIL-STD-1261, MAGNETIC PARTICLE AND CHROMIUM PLATE CAM SURFACE PER QQ-C-320. THE APPROXIMATE SIZE IS 16.562 INCHES X 2 INCHES X 1.322 INCHES. FOB is DESTINATION. The purpose of this notice is to identify and establish initial interest and points of contract from private industry. This i nformation may be used to design acquisition strategy to include socioeconomic program support. It may also help to identify and establish commercial practices available to the Government. Any responses to this notice should include the following: compa ny name, point of contact, address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail address, brief description of company/capabilities, experience areas, history, duns number, cage code and/or tax ID number, as well as size category (large/small disadvantaged, etc). Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the U.S. Governmen t. The U.S. Government will in no way be obligated to purchase all or part of the items designated above and is providing this information as general information only. The U.S. Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued.
