Description

TACOM Rock Island is conducting market research to whether small business sources are interested in submitting a proposal that can meet the requirements of serving as one qualified prime firm on a three year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity fo r the manufacturing capability and delivery of M203, M203A1 and M203A2 Grenade Launchers. The size standard for NAICS Code 332994 is 1,000 employees. The solicitation will contain the Order Limitations Clause 52.216-19 and may include a minimum maximum or der quantity of between 1 and 2500 per each model of grenade launchers. This announcement also provides the government opportunity to conduct Market Research and to better describe the government's requirement and an understanding the capability of industr y (See FAR 10). This is a market survey announcement for informational planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposals or Invitation for Bids nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Information submitted does not constitute a proposal, but will be considered an exchange of capabilities and ideas. Any proprietary information should be properly identified. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any costs incurred in responding to this announcement, or in subsequent exchanges of information. Information is being sought on product capabilities, suppliers' capabilities, quality controls, and business practices.
