Description

The work consists of furnishing one fully crewed and equipped hydraulic pipeline cutterhead dredge on a rental basis for the removal and satisfactory disposal of shoal material in various dredging regions within the vicinity of Morgan City, Baton Rou ge, and the Old River Lock. Work may be required in other areas of the New Orleans District. The estimated value of this work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The solicitation will issue on or about 4 March 2005, and the Bid Opening Date will be established in an amendment. Plans and Specifications are available to download from the WEB ONLY at http://www.mvn.usace.army.mil/EBS_Contracting/index.asp. There will be no paper copies or CDs available. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A PLA NHOLDER TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THE PACKAGE. THIS WILL ALLOW US TO NOTIFY INTERESTED PARTIES IN THE EVENT THAT AN AMENDMENT IS ISSUED.
