Description

USACE, Vicksburg District, Mat Sinking Unit proposes to award a simplified acquisition for lease of a crew boat with operating personnel. The boat will be used on the Mississippi River from Cairo, Illinois (Mississippi River, Mile 953), to the Head of Passes (Lower Mississippi River Mile 0); the Old River, the Atchafalaya River, the Red River (Louisiana), Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW) as far west as the Calcasieu River and the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet (MRGO). The crew boat shall be diesel p owered, and the overall dimensions of the hull at extreme points shall be not less than 38 feet in length and not less than 12 feet in width. The boat shall have a top speed of not less than 20 m.p.h. Specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Con solidated Contracting Office (VCCO) Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/. Hardcopies will not be available. Offerors should check the VCCO Web Page often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Issue date on or ab out 28 Feb 2005. Offer due date on or about 15 Mar 2005, 1445 Hours. THIS PROCUREMENT IS ISSUED UNDER NAICS CODE 532411 FOR A FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT.
