Description

Contractor shall provide Advia Urinalysis WorkCell System for the Department of Pathology, Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC, for a base period and four 1-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NASICS) is 325 411, threshold of 750 employees. The FSC is 6505. A fixed price requirements type contract is anticipated. It is now a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with CCR (the website may be accessed on the internet at: www.ccr.gov to register). Upon release to the public, the solicitation as well as amendments will be available via the internet at the ASFI and FedBizOpps website: http://acquisition.army.mil. Contractors will not be directly notified of soli citation amendments. Point of contact for this requirement is Mrs. Anita Adcock, Contract Specialist, 910-907-9303, email address: anita.adcock@na.amedd.army.mil. It is the Government's intent to place a purchase order with Bayer HealthCare, Diagnostics Division, 112 Flowering Bridge Path, Caswell Beach, NC 28465 for Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina for delivery of reagents, testing equipment, materials, supplies, consumables, training for Government personnel, and all equipment maintenance and any other items necessary for Urinalysis Testing. The period of performance is 1 March 2005 through 30 September 2005 with four (4) one (1) year option periods. Responses will be used to determine whether bonafide competition exists.
