Description

Amendment 0001 is being issued to provide an update for the release of the solicitation. There has been a delay in the release of the solicitation. The revised date is January 31, 2005. No additional information is available. The Department of Commerce/ National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration intends to negotiate on a competitive basis, a requirement for a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software Solution, and integration services to replace existing Client Management System (CMS) and related systems, for U.S. Department of Commerce, ITA/Office of the Chief Information Officer. The contractor shall provide Software, Hardware, Licenses, Installation and System Configuration, System Integration Services, Training Customization/programming, Maintenance for period of contract (programming, infrastructure), Support (help desk, tier 2) for period of contract, and Integration. ITA/Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) expects to implement this CRM in over 250 Field offices throughout the United States, and around the world. OCIO expects approximately 2,800 users of the new CRM solution once it is fully implemented. The solicitation for this requirement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 procedures. An Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery Contract with an 18-month pilot implementation with on going license and maintenance totals over 5 years, cost estimates over a period of 5 years beyond the pilot implementation to judge long-term/ongoing costs for the CRM system. Note 1 applies to this acquisition (The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns.)
