Description
Potential sources are sought for a government acquisition for the Air Force’s current requirement to perform operations and maintenance (O&M) of the Predator Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) program at Indian Springs Auxiliary Airfield (ISAFAF), Nevada, as well as deployed sites worldwide. The primary mission of the Predator program is to provide unmanned aerial surveillance and combat services. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The contractor will be responsible for providing support, following the basic requirements of AFI 21-101. These tasks include, but are not limited to: maintaining equipment in accordance with approved AF technical data, quality assurance, maintaining qualifications/certifications for weapons loading, parts/supplies ordering and accountability, and developing flying and maintenance schedules, etc. Please submit a capabilities statement indicating your interest and ability to meet the aforementioned requirements. Please include the name and address of your firm, whether you are a large or small business, a point of contact with name, title, phone, fax, and e-mail; your ability to perform O&M services on the aircraft and all of its surveillance and weapon systems components, experience and familiarity with the General Atomics Aeronatical Systems Inc. (GAASI) produced Predator UAV, and past performance references of organizations for which you have performed Predator UAV O&M services. Please include contract numbers, description of O&M services, types of contracts, and names and phone number of clients. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought Synopsis. This Sources Sought Synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Quote, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Sources Sought Synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose.
