Description

The contractor shall perform tree trimming and stump grinding at the United States National Arboretum, USDA in Washington D.C. in accordance with the Statement of Work and specifications. All work is to be completed on an as needed basis for the period of May 2005 through April 2006. A site visit is scheduled for March 23, 2005 at 10 a.m., meeting in the lobby of the administration building, 3501 New York Ave, N.E., Washington, DC. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730 and the annual size standard is $6.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as a small business set aside. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), using procedures from FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27. The solicitation will be available to interested parties through electronic data exchange only. The internet address is www.fedbizops.gov. Notification of any changes (amendments) to this solicitation shall be made via the internet. The solicitation will be released (ready of downloading) on or about March 9, 2005. Quotations will be due on April 11, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the quotation considered the most advantageous to the Government. Anticipated award date is no later than April 15, 2005.
