Description: The USPTO plans to issue a sole source task order to Oracle Corporation, 1910 Oracle Way, Reston, VA 21090 under Oracle?s GSA Schedule Contract number GS-35F-0108J. This task order will be issued for consulting services on a labor-hour basis for an estimated 3,120 labor hours. The USPTO currently uses Oracle Software Products to support almost 60 production data bases and 150 test and development data bases serving examiners, classifiers, and public users to manage, retrieve and search patent and trademark information and related class/subclass data. Oracle, as the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), is uniquely qualified to assist the USPTO in positioning its data bases for the newest, yet unreleased version of Oracle software thereby enabling the USPTO to take full advantage of the latest technology when it becomes available.
