- Description
- The Department of Energy (DOE) intends to issue a solicitation for replacing approximately 2.9 miles of 46kv overhead feeder #2 between the Eubank substation and the DOE switching station at Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The work will consist of installing approximately 42 wood poles and three steel pole structures. New conductor, 3-336 ACSR and 1 3/8??? static will be installed. The new 46kv overhead feeder will parallel an existing 46kv feeder #1. The scope of work includes the removal of the old 46kv feeder #2 in accordance with the special specifications for this project. All interested firms must respond to DE-RP52-05NA46kv by 3:00 MST, 16 March 2005 to request a copy of plans and specifications to Linda Worthington, NNSA Service Center, P.O. Box 5400, Albuquerque, NM 87185-5400 or to lworthington@doeal.gov. All requests must be in writing; no telephonic requests will be accepted. You may e-mail or fax your request. Please include the following information with your request. Name and address of company, phone and fax number, your dun???s number and cage code and the size of your business. Please include whether you are disadvantaged, (8a) etc. You must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for this procurement. This is a 100% total small business set-aside. Only bids from small businesses will be accepted.
