Description

RFP# JC-RIV-4-05 for the operation of the Gary Job Corps Center located in San Marcos, Texas, will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity website: http://www.eps.gov on or about March 3, 2005. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a cost plus incentive-fee for a 2-year base period of November 1, 2005 through October 31, 2007 plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity strength is 1900: 1850 residential students; 50 non-residential. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2005 at the Gary JCC, 2800 Airport Hwy 21, San Marcos, Texas, 78667. There will be a tour of the facility following the conference. Due to the size and layout of this center, we recommend comfortable walking shoes. Upon entering the facility, participants must sign in at the main gate entrance and will be directed to the conference site. We recommend that you download the RFP prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Proposals in response to this RFP will consist of Oral Presentations and written submissions as described in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposal are due by 1:00 pm local time Tuesday, May 3, 2005 to the Dallas Regional Office. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
