Description

This is a request for proposals for the installation and general site prep of a General Electric (GE) Healthcare Technologies Lightspeed 16 CT Scanner System and adjacent spaces at Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center. Contractor must furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision, construction materials and equipment and subcontractors as necessary to perform all work associated with the installation and operation of the GE CT Scanner, as well as clinical space to support the area, that include angio reading room, reading and consultation area, physician ofice, imaging room, patient waiting and holding rooms. Contractor must have experience with installation of GE Lightspeed 16 CT Scanner. The VA Medical Center will provide plans and specifications of the area. Evaluation factors will include Technical Capability, Past Performance and Price. Contractor must be able to complete all phases of the project within 100 calendar days after notice to proceed. Solicitation will issue on February 22, 2005. A pre-proposal conference will be held on March 8, 2005 at 10:00 a.m., at VA Medical Center, 1601 Perdido Street, N.O., LA 70112, Building #2, Room 405. Proposals will be due on March 22, 2005 at 4:00 p.m., VA Medical Center, 1601 Perdido Street, Attn: P&S Section (629/AD13), Building #2, Room 409, N.O., LA 70112. All requests for proposals must be in writing. There is a refundable solicitation deposit of $50.00. Only ten (10) sets of plans and specifications are available on a first come first serve basis. Construction range is between $500,000 and $750,000. The NAICS code is 238990, $12.0M is the size standard. This procurement is subject to the availability of funds.
