Description

1. (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for training of a commercial service. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This request for quotation (R FQ) number is W912CZ-05-T-0022. (iii) This RFQ and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-18. (iv) The applicable NAICS is 421910 (v) This RFQ contains one line item: Request a bid on P VS-14 case. This case must be easily attached to any Interceptor Vest, MOLLE, SPEAR or RACK using ALICE-type Clips. Item must be a hard case and impact resistant but still slim so as not to snag as individual moves in confined spaces. Item will be able to hold both the PVS-14 and the head mount while attached to the PVS-14 (no rattle of equipment once in the case). Request that an extra set of batteries be stored in the case as well (2 AA batteries). Secure closure of case with a capability to have a dummy cord still attached to the PVS-14s when stored in the case. Requires subdued color or colors, non-reflective. Specialized case for the PVS-14 is required; retrofitting a Pelican-style Case is not acceptable. Pricing should include shipping to Ft. Wainwright, Alaska 99703. Quantity requested is: 1,065 each. (vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition, along with the following addenda. (viii) Offers will be evaluated using the following evaluation factors technical acceptable, price and delivery time. Th e contract will be awarded to the offeror that provides the best value to the government. (ix) All offers must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (x) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition along with the following addenda: 52.219-1, Small Business Program Representations (Apr 2002). All offers must include a completed copy of this provision. (xi) 252.204-7004.
