- Wire rope, steel 1-1/4 inch diameter (12 X 6) / (6 X 30) nonrotating, polypropylene core, high strength for aircraft arresting in accordance with the Naval Air Warfare Center?s P/N A92791-34-3060, Revision 43 (drawing) and NAEC MISC No. 08787, Revision D manual and REI-01-17137 (3,000? length per reel). This requirement will be procured under a firm-fixed price contract using full and open competition. Delivery shall be for six (6) reels of wire rope 120 days after contract award. Inspection and acceptance shall be at source. Award to contractor shall be made using the method of ?best value? to the government. The methods or factors will be past performance and price. Your company is required to register with the United States/Canada Joint Certification Office for Export Control requirements before you receive a copy of the solicitation. You may also, contact the DLIS Registration Center at 1-800-352-3572. Please see Note 8, of the Commerce Business Daily (CBD). Your company is required as well to register with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. You can access the internet web site at (http:///www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil/ccring or www.ccr2000.com). It is mandatory to register with the CCR, as your DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System + 4 number) number and your company?s CAGE (Commercial and Government Entity) code will be required to conduct business with the Department of Defense.
