Description

Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division, Patuxent River MD 2.5.1.4 has a requirement to obtain a system capable of calibrating and testing the on-board acoustic suite that will replace the currently installed Acoustic Test Signal Generator Test Set (ATSG). This is a notice of intent to request a proposal from and negotiate with Ultra Electronics/ Flightline Systems, Inc., 7625 Omnitech Place, Victor NY 14564 who has been identified as the only company to offer a direct replacement for that is form, fit, function and part number equivalent with the calibration and test system previously procured US Sonobuoy data simulator. (FAR 6.302-1) 5171-0303T00000 Test Set, PASS w/Attenuator (21), 9999-0301-001 Touch Screen Terminal (2), 5171-3010-003 PWA, PASS (2), 5171-0333-001 Power Supply, Switcher Board (2). It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price order will be awarded to Ultra Electronics/ Flightline for the materials. (FAR 52.212-1) Flightline is the sole designer of the upgrade to the current ATSG. There are no other sources that have access to the technical data owned by Flightline to develop this replacement system design. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. Responses without a return address, mailing address, and company telephone number will not be recognized. Proprietary data in the responses will be protected where so designated. NOTE: Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-88-227-2423, or by accessing the CCR web site at http://ccr.edi.isa.mil/. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely with in the discretion of the Government.
